Tammy Deuster, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder
Tammy Deuster's background is in product management and marketing. As a Product Manager for Inktomi, she built the business model and sales strategy for their Traffic Server network caching solution. Offering one of the first commercial scalable network caching products, Inktomi was instrumental in establishing caching as an important infrastructure investment for ISPs by selling to major players, including AOL. Tammy then became Inktomi's first marketer in the European region in order to develop an Inktomi presence and the Traffic Server sales strategy for the area. Before Inktomi, she was a management consultant for A.T. Kearney. Tammy has an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BS in Engineering from the University of Virginia.

Peter Mattis, Chief Technology Officer and Co-Founder
Peter Mattis was Senior Engineer responsible for the main cache portion of Inktomi's network caching solution. He is an expert in building highly scalable server software, including optimizing Inktomi's Traffic Server for AOL's heavy traffic demands, and was instrumental in several software product releases. Before Inktomi, Peter was the original author for two major open source projects, GTK and the GIMP. GTK, the GNU Toolkit, is the user interface toolkit being used by Red Hat, Sun, HP and a large number of volunteers as the core foundation of the Gnome Project to develop a GUI desktop for Linux. The GIMP, the GNU Image Manipulation Program, is the Adobe Photoshop equivalent for Unix and is considered one of the flagship applications of open source software. Peter is the primary inventor for two Inktomi patents in scalable computing technology. Peter has a BS in Computer Science from the University of California at Berkeley.
